We are counting down the days of December with a book advent! Each day of December, we open a brand new book for our class book areas! These books are some of the best current fiction books on offer and the children are LOVING them so far! Once unwrapped, the teacher reads it aloud (or a chapter or two for the longer books!) in a daily story session and then the book is free to be taken home and enjoyed by the children as their reading for pleasure book.
