Year 6 finish their first book!

Year 6 have just finished reading their first novel in their whole class reading lessons. The book is called Fly Me Home by Polly Ho-Yen and it is just incredible! Some of the children said the book was the best book they have ever read!

Feeling lost and alone in a strange new city, Leelu wishes she could fly away back home – her real home where her dad is, thousands of miles away.

London is cold and grey and the neighbours are noisy and there’s concrete everywhere.
