In Year 1, we have been reading the story The Lion Inside by Rachel Bright.
This book is about a little mouse who was feeling so small and left out by the other animals. One day he decides to be brave and go and see the most confident animal in the jungle- the lion! When he confronts the lion, he finds out that the lion is actually scared of him- the mouse! They both decide to become friends and from that day on they had learnt that no matter what your size we all have a lion and a mouse inside!
