Year 3 Sam Wu Is NOT Afraid Of Sharks by Katie & Kevin Tsang

Year 3 are thoroughly enjoying reading ‘Sam Wu is NOT afraid of SHARKS’. The story is about a little boy who is pretending to not be afraid of sharks on his school trip to the aquarium but we can tell he is definitely VERY scared of sharks! The blurb says he is going to go to the beach for his friend's birthday so we are very intrigued to see whether he encounters sharks at the beach too...

“Sam is quite a sassy character!” Thapelo

“The book is good because he is trying to prove he is brave when we can tell he isn't at all!” Mia

"The book is inspiring and cool because Sam tries to act brave even when he is feeling very scared!" Rainie

We are loving reading this story and can't wait to find out whether Sam is actually going to be eaten by sharks! We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family and we would give it 4 stars so far. It has also made us all want to visit an aquarium to see some sharks too!
