Year 3 Skeleton Keys by Guy Bass

In 3LE we are currently reading "Skeleton Keys The Unimaginary Friend" by Guy Bass (Author) and Pete Williamson (Illustrator)!

Skeleton Keys is a fantastic character who has 'fantabulant' keys for fingers! These special keys open doors to hidden worlds!

The Unimaginary Friend is a curious tale about a young boy called Ben Bunsen and his imaginary friend then Gorblimey. Things are going well in Ben's life until Skeleton Keys appears and his imaginary friend becomes unimaginary!

Oliver says "I love this book because it has my imagination running wild! My favourite character is Skeleton Keys because he is hilarious. I can't wait to find out what happens at the end of this book. I wonder if Gorblimey will end up in the hidden world of Oblivion."

Raida says "I really love this book! I like the part when Bens decides to take his imaginary friend to school and the Gorblimey ruins his plan to become popular! I like how Ben has an imaginary friend because, sometimes I also pretend I have an imaginary friend when I am bored and have nobody to play with. Ben has just seen his old imaginary friend Daisy (with her backwards head!) I can't wait to find out what happens next."

We are really enjoying reading this mysterious book. We are always asking Miss Edwards if we can read another chapter! So far, we have given this book 5 stars! We have the other books in the Skeleton Keys series and are looking forward to reading them all!
