In Reception this term our topic is Pirates and Mermaids. We’re currently reading “Pirates Love Underpants” by Claire Freedman.
These pirates SO love underpants,
They’re on a special quest
To find the fabled Pants of Gold,
For the Captain’s treasure chest.
Whilst we were eating our dinner the Pirates snuck into our classroom and set up a walk the plank with sharks! We were all very excited and have enjoyed reading about their quests to find treasure.
Rupert says, “I want to be a pirate and find all the treasure- I will be rich!”
Vincent says “The pirates all have cutlasses which are swords.”
We would give “Pirates Love Underpants” 5 stars! We have laughed from start to finish and are so glad they found the golden underpants because ‘Pants Pirates NEVER fail!’
